This documentary, I'm Still Here: Growing old in ageist America, examines ageism and what it is like to grow old in a youth-obsessed culture. It takes a behind the scenes look at the real lives of older people, how their life experiences have influenced them, and how they continue to dream. In particular, the documentary focuses on personal stories that display the diversity of people who are labeled by the homogenizing term "senior citizen." It addresses the following questions: What is ageism? How does it harm our society? Who are we forgetting? What can we do about it?

I'm Still Here: Growing old in ageist America, reaches the conclusion that everyone has value, no matter their age.
